Cnbc.com: ‘The world is facing an “extraordinary macroeconomic situation that is very hard and difficult to predict,” Sewing says.’
“I’m particularly worried about a series of financial and geopolitical risks, ranging from the situation in Hong Kong to tension in the Middle East,” voegt Sewing er nog aan toe.
Need to know
Te weinig liquiditeit? Te weinig geld, dollar in omloop? How come? Dat is ook wat Zerohedge zich afvraagt.
‘(…) why are banks still so desperate for liquidity even though the Fed has now made clear the Fed’s balance sheet will expand to accommodate all reserve needs, and why do they so stubbornly refuse to approach the interbank market for their funding needs? In short, what do they know about the banking system that we don’t?’
